SEHWAG CREATES HISTORY IN MUMBAI TEST

After an emphatic innings victory at Kanpur,the indians were fully charged up for the final Test at Mumbai.
Sri Lankans started their first innings on day 1 and ended up reaching a total of 393 runs.

 Virender Sehwag was in  awesome form and made an yet another double century on day 2.This helped India to reach 443/1 in just 79 overs.Sehwag is the only Indian batsman to have triple century against his name.That too he has two triple centuries to his tally equalling Brian Charles Lara's and Sir Don Bradman's record.

Day 3 of the Mumbai test was considered to be historic day in the cricketing history since Sehwag was on the verge of getting his 3rd triple ton.If he gets it, he would be the first batsman to do so in the history of cricket.
But the Sultan of Multan disappointed all the cricket fans and cricket experts by getting out at 293 in Muralidharan's ball.Finally the Indians sealed off the Test series with a innings victory in the Mumbai test also.

1.First Indian batsman to score six double tons in Test cricket surpassing "The Wall" Rahul Dravid.
2.Made second fastest double ton in168 balls beating his own previous record which was in 182 balls.
3.Sehwag crossed 6000 runs in test cricket.It is the 3rd fastest by innings after Sunny Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar .
4.India crowned the NO 1 spot in the Test team.
